A day after Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik urged Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi to convene a particular session of the State Meeting to debate the Delimitation Invoice, he appealed to Members of Parliament from the State to lift their voices in opposition to Invoice, as “it may undermine Odisha’s dignity, illustration, and long-term pursuits.”

In a letter addressed to MPs on Thursday (April 16, 2026), the veteran chief mentioned, “the proposed linkage between girls’s reservation and the delimitation course of (131st Structure Modification Invoice), which is predicted to comply with the following Census, has far-reaching implications.”
