Watch: Italian Airplane Crashes On Freeway; Mechanical Failure Suspected As Two Killed


A tragic aviation accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when a small ultralight plane nosedived onto the A21 Cordamolle Ospitale freeway close to Brescia, erupting into a large fireball and killing each occupants onboard.

The victims have been recognized as 75-year-old Milan-based lawyer and pilot Sergio Ravaglia, and his companion Anna Maria De Stefano, aged 60. Authorities consider Ravaglia was trying an emergency touchdown after experiencing technical difficulties mid-flight.
