New Delhi: Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has issued a stern warning to Hamas, urging them to just accept the Gaza ceasefire proposal put forth by US Particular Envoy Steve Witkoff. The proposal outlines a two-phase launch of 10 residing Israeli hostages and 18 our bodies in trade for a 60-day ceasefire and the discharge of 1,236 Palestinian detainees and prisoners, together with 180 Palestinian our bodies.
Katz emphasised that Israel’s army operations in Gaza will proceed with full pressure till Hamas accepts the deal, with intense air, land, and sea assaults geared toward defending Israeli troopers.
In a press release issued by his workplace, Katz stated the Israeli army continued its operations in Gaza with full pressure, finishing up assaults by air, land, and sea on an unprecedented scale “for max safety of our troopers in preparation for the entry of the maneuvering forces in every space.”
In a press release issued on Friday, the Israeli army stated that since Thursday, its air pressure, alongside floor forces, had struck dozens of targets throughout the Gaza Strip, which “eradicated terrorists, dismantled weapons, terrorist infrastructure, and underground infrastructure websites.”
It added that in the course of the army operations, two rocket-propelled grenades have been fired at Israeli troops, calmly wounding three troopers.
Of the 251 hostages seized in the course of the October 2023 Hamas assault, 57 stay in Gaza, of whom 34 are believed to be lifeless, in accordance with the Israeli army.
Earlier on Friday, the White Home stated that Israel has signed off on a 60-day Gaza ceasefire proposal as Israeli military continues its army actions within the war-torn space.
White Home Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed at a press briefing that US Particular Envoy to the Center East Steve Witkoff and US President Donald Trump “submitted a ceasefire proposal to Hamas that Israel backed and supported.”
