Iran has agreed to India’s request to allow protected evacuation of almost 10,000 Indian college students caught between mounting Israeli airstrikes, and supplied land border crossings into Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan after the Iranian airspace has been shut down, officers mentioned on Monday.
The Indian Embassy in Tehran is intently monitoring the safety scenario and liaising with college students to maintain them protected. “In some circumstances, college students are being relocated with Embassy facilitation to safer locations inside Iran. Different possible choices are below examination,” the embassy mentioned on Sunday. India is now mulling over a mass evacuation effort for its residents.
