Three folks had a slim escape on Saturday when a heli ambulance needed to make an emergency touchdown in Kedarnath after it developed a technical snag, an official stated.
The heli ambulance operated by AIIMS, Rishikesh had gone to Kedarnath to rescue a pilgrim affected by respiratory misery when its tail rotor broke, forcing the pilot to make an emergency touchdown, District Tourism Growth Officer Rahul Chaubey stated.
Two medical doctors and a pilot had been on board the heli ambulance when it made an emergency touchdown, stated Mr Chaubey, who can also be the nodal officer for the Heli Service.
All of them are protected, he stated.
