OpenAI has introduced it is opening its first everlasting London workplace with a capability of over 500 staff members, after the corporate halted a significant AI infrastructure venture within the U.Okay.
The U.S.-based AI agency stated it had signed the lease for an 88,500 sq. foot house on Monday. In February OpenAI introduced it could make London its largest analysis hub outdoors of the U.S. The corporate presently employs round 200 folks within the U.Okay. capital.
“The UK has an unimaginable depth of expertise and a robust monitor document in AI,” Phoebe Thacker, London website lead at OpenAI, stated in an announcement. “London is already a key hub for our analysis and groups, and this new workplace provides us the house to maintain constructing right here.”
