NEW DELHI: A Saudia Airways flight from Jakarta to Medina made an emergency touchdown at Thiruvananthapuram Worldwide Airport in Kerala on Sunday. In response to airport authorities, Saudia flight 821 was diverted after a passenger fell unconscious and the crew reported the medical state of affairs mid-air. The plane touched down round 6.30 pm. The passenger, an Indonesian nationwide, was instantly rushed to Ananthapuri Hospital. Hospital officers stated the passenger arrived with complaints of chest ache and is presently being handled within the emergency unit, reported PTI. ECG and blood assessments are being performed to evaluate the situation. Airport authorities added that the flight is anticipated to depart for Medina shortly.
