The Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) on Thursday strongly criticised remarks made by a senior state authority regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s current five-nation tour. Labelling the feedback as “irresponsible and regrettable”, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasised that such statements don’t align with the federal government’s stance and undermine India’s diplomatic relationships.

“We’ve got seen some feedback made by a excessive state authority about India’s relations with pleasant nations from the International South. These remarks are irresponsible and regrettable and don’t behove the state authority,” stated Randhir Jaiswal, the Official Spokesperson of the MEA.
