“4 speedy response groups have been dispatched to the scene after the explosion,” Head of the Hormozgan Pink Crescent Society, Mokhtar Salahshour, instructed state TV.

Mehrdad Hassanzadeh, head of the province’s disaster administration authority has confirmed to state television that the reason for the incident was the explosion of a number of containers. 

“We’re presently evacuating and transporting the injured to close by medical centres,” he added.
