Twelve U.S. troops had been wounded, two of them severely, in an Iranian army strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, a U.S. official informed Reuters on Friday.
The most recent casualties add to the greater than 300 U.S. army service members who’ve been wounded for the reason that conflict in opposition to Iran began on February 28. Earlier on Friday, the U.S. army mentioned 273 of them had already returned to obligation.
13 U.S. troops have been killed within the battle.
