New Delhi: A 15-year-old Boeing 737 with about 170 folks on board working IndiGo flight 6E 579 from Vizag to Delhi made a protected emergency touchdown at IGIA on Saturday morning after struggling an engine failure. IndiGo has moist leased (employed with working crew) the plane (TC-COR) from Corendon Airways of Turkey. IGIA made all emergency preparations as per protocol. The plane landed safely on single engine at 10.54 am.
