‘I dedicate this prize to President Trump for…’: Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Corina Machado


Opposition activist Maria Corina Machado of Venezuela has gained the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize “for her tireless work selling democratic rights for the individuals of Venezuela and for her wrestle to realize a simply and peaceable transition from dictatorship to democracy.”

Venezuelan opposition chief Maria Corina Machado on Friday reacted to her 2025 Nobel Peace Prize win and has devoted it to the “struggling” individuals of Venezuela and US President Donald Trump for supporting Venezuela’s battle for freedom.

‘I dedicate this prize to President Trump’

In a publish on X, Machado stated, “This recognition of the wrestle of all Venezuelans is a lift to conclude our process: to overcome Freedom. We’re on the brink of victory and at the moment, greater than ever, we rely on President Trump, the individuals of the US, the peoples of Latin America, and the democratic nations of the world as our principal allies to realize Freedom and democracy. I dedicate this prize to the struggling individuals of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive help of our trigger!”

‘They place politics over peace’: White Home

Earlier, the White Home criticised the Norwegian Nobel Committee’s determination to offer the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize Maria Corina Machado and stated that the Republican chief will proceed to make peace offers, finish wars, and save lives.

White Home spokesman Steven Cheung stated in a publish on X, “President Trump will proceed making peace offers, ending wars, and saving lives. He has the center of a humanitarian, and there’ll by no means be anybody like him who can transfer mountains with the sheer drive of his will.”

“The Nobel Committee proved they place politics over peace,” he added.
