Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line providers between the Vishwavidyalaya and Central Secretariat stations have been disrupted on Friday morning throughout peak workplace and faculty hours resulting from heavy rains within the Delhi-NCR area, inflicting inconvenience to 1000’s of commuters.
The Delhi Metro Rail Company (DMRC) mentioned trains have been operating with delays on this stretch, although providers remained regular throughout the remainder of the community.
Lengthy queues have been noticed on the Hauz Khas station, a key interchange station on the Yellow Line which sees heavy footfall day by day.
Passengers face disruption
Passengers reported that the same old jiffy of journey between Vishwavidyalaya and GTB Nagar had stretched to just about 50 minutes because of the disruption. Many commuters mentioned the delays left them struggling to succeed in workplaces and colleges on time.
DMRC added that providers have been being regularly restored and efforts have been underway to normalise operations on the affected route.
