BENGALURU: A Rapido bike taxi captain was arrested in Bengaluru on Monday on fees of slapping a girl rider, who objected to his alleged rash driving. The accused, although, stated it was the lady who had attacked him first.A video recorded by a passerby exhibits the 2 arguing and the captain could be seen slapping the lady, who loses her steadiness and is knocked down. Later, cops collected CCTV footage from a constructing, which confirmed the lady attacking the captain first.The accused bike captain, S Suman, 28, was arrested on a grievance filed by the pillion rider, Priya (title modified). He has been booked beneath a number of sections of the BNS.Talking to TOI, Priya stated the incident befell on June 13, when she was on her method to work. She had booked a Rapido bike, and Suman was assigned the journey.
