JAIPUR: Rajasthan anti-corruption bureau (ACB) on Monday recovered Rs 20 lakh bribe cash obtained by Bharat Adivasi Social gathering (BAP) MLA Jaikrishn Patel, a day after his private assistant fled with the money throughout the company’s entrapment operation.
The money, allegedly paid to the MLA by a mine operator for not elevating any queries within the Meeting with regard to his mining actions, was recovered from Indira Gandhi Nagar, the place it was buried below a garden.
Patel, who was arrested on Sunday, was produced earlier than an area court docket on Monday and was remanded in ACB custody for 2 days.
Officers stated the MLA’s private assistant Rohit Meena handed over the cash to his uncle, Laxman Meena alias Jaswant, who was arrested Monday.
