3 useless, 6 safety personnel lacking as landslide hits army camp in Sikkim, rescue underway

At the least three individuals had been killed and 6 safety personnel went lacking after a landslide struck a army camp at Chhaten in Sikkim, reported information company PTI quoting a defence official on Monday. The landslide occurred round 7 pm on Sunday following intense rainfall within the area.

Rescue operations are underway, and to date, three our bodies have been recovered. 4 others had been rescued with minor accidents, the official mentioned in a press release. “Rescue groups are working across the clock below difficult circumstances to hint the six lacking personnel,” the assertion added.
