TN authorities extends ban on mayonnaise for one more 12 months

The Tamil Nadu authorities has prolonged the ban on the manufacture, processing, packaging, storage, transportation, distribution, and sale of mayonnaise ready from uncooked eggs for one more 12 months from April 8 this 12 months. It had initially imposed a one-year ban on the condiment final April.

The notification by the Commissioner of Meals Security and Drug Administration was issued underneath related sections of the Meals Security and Requirements Act, 2006, and the order of the Commissioner of Meals Security of Tamil Nadu.
