Three groups of the State Catastrophe Response Power (SDRF) have been positioned in Nagapattinam district, as a part of the precautionary measures for the northeast monsoon. Two SDRF groups have been deputed to Cuddalore district, the Tamil Nadu authorities stated on Tuesday.
