Snake consultants have sounded a warning over elevated snake incursions into properties as mercury ranges rise, and have suggested the general public to take preventive measures to keep away from encounters with snakes.
Muhammad Anwar, nodal officer of Mission SARPA, a particular drive of the Forest division to cut back snakebite deaths, issued the warning within the wake of the demise of an eight-year-old boy, who was bitten by a snake whereas asleep at his home in Mattathur close to Kodakara in Thrissur district on Sunday (April 19).
