Six Maoists killed in encounter at Papikonda Nationwide Park in Andhra Pradesh

Six Maoists have been killed reportedly in an alternate of fireside between Maoists and safety forces on Tuesday (November 18, 2025) alongside the Pamuleru stream in Papikonda Nationwide Park in Andhra Pradesh’s Alluri Sitarama Raju district.

The incident occurred whereas police personnel have been engaged in combing operation close to Nellooru village in Maredumilli Mandal within the early hours of Tuesday.

Sources mentioned that the slain Maoists probably included high chief and Central Committee Madvi Hidma, and his spouse Raje alias Rajakka. Nonetheless, identities are but to be confirmed, the police mentioned.

“At the very least six Maoists have been killed in an alternate of fireside within the early hours of Tuesday (November 18),” Alluri Sitarama Raju District Superintendent of Police Amit Bardar instructed. The Hindu.
