Mandya district has secured first rank within the State below the Poshan Abhiyaan, a flagship program of the Middle for offering dietary assist to pregnant girls and youngsters.
This achievement was introduced in the course of the DISHA assembly chaired by Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy in Mandya on Thursday (October 6).
Mandya has 2,558 Anganwadi facilities and noon meals are equipped to 1,838 colleges below the Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman scheme, Mr. Kumaraswamy stated.
