The Karnataka State Industrial Safety Drive personnel, posted on the Central Jail situated at Sogane close to Shivamogga, caught a jail workers member allegedly making an attempt to hold ganja (marijuana), and foiled one other try to produce ganja by hiding it within the stem of banana bunches.
Shivamogga Police have booked two separate instances, based mostly on complaints filed by P. Ranganath, Chief Superintendent of the jail.
The safety workers caught Sathvik, 25, on November 20 whereas he was attempting to hold ganja coated in gum tape. He had stored the banned merchandise in his innerwear. The police are analyzing CCTV digital camera footage to establish the individuals who equipped the banana bunches.
