PRAYAGRAJ: Allahabad Excessive Courtroom has refused to quash the FIR filed towards two males accused of elevating “sar tan se juda” slogan throughout a procession in Bareilly on Sept 26 when the agitated crowd clashed with police, stories Rajesh Kumar Pandey. A division bench Monday dismissed a writ petition filed by Gauhar Khan and Shakib Jamal, looking for quashing of the FIR and a route to police to not take any coercive motion towards them. The Bareilly procession had been organized to protest police motion towards an identical procession held in Kanpur on Sept 4 throughout Barawafat (Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi) rally.
