Responding to a query on e-challans issued, fines recovered and unpaid e-challans for site visitors violations between 2022 and 2024, the ministry mentioned UP topped the checklist each in restoration of fines and pending challans, adopted by Rajasthan. UP reported restoration of Rs 1,717 crore within the three years and the pending effective was Rs 5,785 crore. Tamil Nadu and Kerala reported excessive unpaid dues at Rs 1,235 crore and Rs 814 crore, respectively.
