Delimitation train: Tourism Minister, TNCC president protest in Tamil Nadu’s Salem

As a part of the state-wide protest introduced by the DMK towards the Delimitation Invoice, Minister for Tourism R. Rajendran and Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president Ok. Selvaperunthagai hoisted a black flag in Salem on Thursday (April 16, 2026).

Mr. Rajendran hoisted a black flag at his home in Meenakshi Nagar of TVS Colony within the presence of DMK cadre. The Minister and the cadre raised slogans towards the Union authorities and demanded withdrawal of the Invoice. Later, the Minister, accompanied by the cadre, went to the Salem District DMK workplace on the new bus stand and burnt a duplicate of the Delimitation Invoice.
