NEW DELHI: Singapore’s excessive commissioner to India, Simon Wong, is amongst tens of hundreds of passengers stranded resulting from IndiGo flight cancellations. Wong’s flight to Deoghar, the place he was presupposed to attend his employees member’s wedding ceremony, was cancelled. The excessive commissioner apologized to his employees member, saying he was “misplaced for phrases” and used a face-palm emoji in his tweet.
He wrote: “I joined the tens of hundreds of passengers stranded by Indigo. My flight to Deoghar has been cancelled. My honest apologies to my younger employees ready for me to attend his shaadi. Misplaced for phrases.”IndiGo’s operational issues have entered a fourth straight day, inflicting chaos at airports throughout India. Passengers are reporting lengthy waits, vacant counters, misplaced baggage, and a scarcity of meals and water. The airline has apologized, saying the disruptions are attributable to “unexpected operational challenges,” together with technical points, climate interruptions, and revised crew obligation guidelines (FDTL norms).In the meantime, the ministry of civil aviation has issued directives to stabilize operations. It expects IndiGo’s flight schedules to normalize by Monday.
