The primary batch of 115 newly-recruited Excise officers, together with Assistant Excise Superintendents (AES) and Sub-Inspectors of Excise (SIS), started their six-month foundational coaching on the Excise Academy on Saturday (November 1, 2025).
The group consists of 31 AES candidates chosen via the TSPSC Group-I examination and 84 SIS candidates recruited via Group-II. The trainees formally reported to the academy following certificates verification for recruits from each the Warangal and Hyderabad zones.
