RJD chief writes to EC, says Bihar govt violated MCC by transferring cash to ladies forward of ballot
RJD MP Manoj Jha writes to the Election Fee (EC), accusing the Bihar authorities of violating the Mannequin Code of Conduct (MCC) by transferring cash to ladies underneath the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana on October 17, 24 and 31.
Mr. Jha additionally stated the subsequent proposed date for disbursement is November 7 — 4 days earlier than the second section of polling in Bihar.
“I’m writing to lodge a proper and powerful protest in opposition to the brazen violation of the Mannequin Code of Conduct (MCC) by the federal government of Bihar by the direct money switch of Rs 10,000 to beneficiaries on 17, 24 and 31 October, 2025 underneath the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana,” Mr. Jha says in his letter to the ECI.
