A 35-year-old man was arrested by Afzalgunj police for stealing gold ornaments from a sleeping passenger aboard a non-public bus, with officers recovering round 17 tolas of jewelry.
The accused, recognized as Annareddy Venkata Siva Reddy alias Siva, a resident of Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh, was apprehended after he arrived on the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) in Hyderabad, to eliminate the stolen property.
