Former Chief Minister and Chief of the Opposition, Bhupinder Singh Hooda has stated that each the produce and the producers—the farmers—are dealing with steady misery in grain markets throughout the State as the net portal is non-functional, gate passes will not be being generated, bidding is just not going down, and there may be neither procurement, lifting of shares, nor cost being made.

Mr. Hooda, who has been constantly touring grain markets throughout the State, visited the Sohna grain market on Monday (April 13, 2026). He interacted with farmers, Arhtiyas (fee brokers), and labourers.
