AIMIM severs ties with Humayun Kabir’s social gathering in West Bengal after viral video clip

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has severed its short-lived alliance with Humayun Kabir’s social gathering and introduced that it’s going to contest the upcoming West Bengal Meeting elections independently.

In an announcement issued on X on early Friday (April 10, 2026) the social gathering stated latest remarks attributed to Mr. Kabir had raised considerations. Any statements, they stated, that questioned the integrity of Muslims can’t be related to, underscoring that AIMIM couldn’t be related to such positions.
