Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president and actor C.Joseph Vijay on Sunday (March 29, 2026) introduced candidates for all 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu and 30 seats in Puducherry for subsequent month’s Meeting elections. Mr. Vijay is about to make his electoral debut from two constituencies – Perambur in Chennai and Tiruchi East.
The DMK has fielded incumbent MLA RD Shekar from Perambur, whereas within the AIADMK entrance, the constituency has been allotted to the PMK, led by Anbumani. In Tiruchi East, the DMK has fielded incumbent MLA Inigo Irudayaraj, whereas the AIADMK has fielded Ok. Rajasekaran.
