West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose was not allowed inside Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday (December 13, 2025) night, hours after violence erupted on the venue following vandalism by spectators after soccer legend Lionel Messi made a quick public look there.
Soccer followers had been upset that regardless of paying for tickets to enter the stadium to catch a glimpse of their favourite participant, they may not see Lionel Messi correctly as organizers and VIPs had encircled the soccer legend.
