Watch: IndiGo cuts 400–500 flights amid DGCA orders to “stabilise” operations


India’s largest airline, IndiGo, has determined to chop 400–500 every day flights to attain “full stabilization of its schedule,” decreasing operations from round 2,300 to 1,800–1,900 flights per day. The choice comes hours after the DGCA ordered a 5% discount, citing the airline’s incapacity to function its full authorized schedule reliably.
