Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman has been fined 10 % of his match price after he was discovered responsible of breaching Stage 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct through the Tri-Collection ultimate towards Sri Lanka on November 29.
Zaman was discovered to have breached Article 2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Gamers and Participant Help Personnel, which pertains to “exhibiting dissent at an umpire’s resolution throughout a global match.”
One demerit level has been added to Zaman’s disciplinary file, for whom it was the primary offense in a 24-month interval.

Notably, Stage 1 breaches carry a minimal penalty of an official reprimand, a most penalty of fifty per cent of a participant’s match price, and one or two demerit factors.
