A high-level delegation from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Financial Cooperation and Growth visited the Karnataka State Highway Transport Company (KSRTC) workplace in Bengaluru on December 2 to try its inclusive mobility efforts. The guests included officers from the German embassy and GIZ (German Company for Worldwide Cooperation).
The group skilled Dhwani Spandana–OnBoard, an assistive audio-navigation system that enhances bus accessibility for visually impaired commuters.
KSRTC Managing Director Akram Pasha briefed the guests and highlighted the venture’s nationwide award. Developed by the Raised Strains Basis and scaled with GIZ beneath the Inexperienced City Mobility Innovation initiative, the system is already in use on KSRTC and Mysuru metropolis buses.
The German delegation, led by Director Common Christine Toetzke, praised KSRTC’s management in adopting revolutionary and user-centric transport applied sciences.
