A 50-year-old head constable connected to the Channapatna visitors station was discovered useless in Shettihalli lake in Channapatna Rural police station limits on Tuesday.
The deceased has been recognized as Lakshman. He was on his strategy to work on his two wheeler when the incident occurred.
The police suspect that whereas driving subsequent to the lake, Lakshman misplaced management and slipped into the lake and drowned. His members of the family tried to achieve him when he didn’t return dwelling, however his cell phone was switched off.
In response to the police, Lakshman left dwelling round 7.30 pm and was heading to the Channapatna Rural visitors police station for his night time shift. He reportedly misplaced management of his bike, hit the bridge railing, and fell into the lake.
On Tuesday morning, passers-by discovered the two-wheeler subsequent to the lake.
The police recovered the physique and shifted it to the hospital for autopsy. A case of unnatural loss of life has been registered and investigation is on.
