Sri Lanka have made important last-minute changes to their squad for the upcoming T20I tri-series towards Zimbabwe and hosts Pakistan after sickness, scheduled to be performed in Rawalpindi, beginning November 18.
A press release from Sri Lanka Cricket Board confirmed that skipper Charith Asalanka and pacer Asitha Fernando will likely be lacking out on the sequence owing to sickness.
The 2 gamers will likely be returning again residence, a precautionary measure to make sure that they obtain correct care and adequate time to get well for future assignments.
“Captain Charith Asalanka and quick bowler Asitha Fernando, each affected by sickness, will return residence. The 2 gamers won’t participate within the upcoming tri-series that includes Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Zimbabwe,” the Sri Lanka Cricket mentioned in a press release.
“This precautionary determination ensures they obtain correct care and adequate time to get well forward of future assignments,” it added.

In the meantime, former captain and seasoned all-rounder Dasun Shanaka will take over the reins for the upcoming tri-series in Pakistan.
