Camp elephant runs amok in Karnataka’s Gundlupet city


A camp elephant dropped at Gundlupet taluk as a part of a Forest Division operation to seize a tiger ran amok on Friday night, triggering tense moments in Gundlupet city.

The elephant was seen working alongside the principle highway earlier than coming into the KSRTC bus stand. At one level, a motorist deserted his automobile and ran to security because the elephant charged in the direction of his path.
