MUMBAI: Seventeen kids and two adults rescued after hostage scenario in powai studio. The 19 individuals had been stored hostage for nearly two hours in a studio on the Mahavir Classik constructing in Powai as we speak. They had been rescued after a police inspector compelled entry into the studio and seized an airgun and a few chemical from the detained suspect, recognized as Rohit Arya, Powai police stated. Joint Commissioner of Police (L&O) Satyanarayan Chaudhary stated “prima facie the motive behind the hostage was performed by the suspect over some work associated dues pending”.
The suspect was taken to hospital for medical examination. In the meantime, the rescued kids had been handed over to their dad and mom. A crew from Powai and Sakinaka police stations reached the spot following a misery name acquired at 1.45 pm. The kids, aged between 13 and 17, had come from completely different elements of Maharashtra for an audition for an ad-shoot.DCP Datta Nalawade stated that they’re gathering info and will probably be questioning the person who was detained to know the motive behind his act.
