German auto large Volkswagen on Wednesday warned of non permanent manufacturing outages citing China’s export restrictions on semiconductors made by Nexperia.

A spokesperson for Volkswagen instructed CNBC by e-mail that whereas Nexperia isn’t a direct provider of the corporate, some Nexperia components are utilized in its automobile elements, that are provided by Volkswagen’s direct suppliers.
