A hearth broke out at Hazrat Shahjalal Worldwide Airport in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon, prompting the non permanent suspension of all flights.
In response to officers, the incident occurred round 2:30 pm close to Gate 8. Fireplace Service spokesperson Talha Bin Jashim advised bdnews that 9 firefighting items have been initially dispatched to deal with the blaze, with an extra fifteen items despatched quickly after. Talha Bin Zasim of the Fireplace Service and Civil Defence Media Cell later acknowledged that 28 items have been actively working to manage the fireplace, with reinforcements on the best way.
An airport spokesperson assured, “All plane are protected. Additional updates might be shared because the scenario develops,” as reported by The Day by day Star.
Authorities reported no quick casualties or main harm. The reason for the fireplace is presently underneath investigation.

The Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR) reported that a number of companies are concerned in efforts to manage the fireplace, together with the Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh Fireplace Service, Bangladesh Navy, and Bangladesh Air Drive. The operation has been strengthened with two fireplace items from the Air Drive and two platoons from the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
Because of the fireplace, all flights arriving at and departing from Hazrat Shahjalal Worldwide Airport have been quickly halted. Quite a few incoming flights have been redirected to Shah Amanat Worldwide Airport in Chattogram and Osmani Worldwide Airport in Sylhet.
