33.5 acres of Traco Cables to be handed over to Infopark

Practically 33.5 acres of Traco Cables, a State public sector unit underneath the Division of Industries, at Irumpanam will probably be handed over to Infopark as a part of creating its fourth part.

The choice handy over the land was taken on a request from Infopark, Industries Minister P. Rajeeve mentioned in a launch. The fourth part could be applied on the land close to Seaport-Airport Highway, he added.

A high-level committee was shaped to work out the phrases and circumstances for handing over the land. A gathering convened by the Chief Minister had earlier determined handy over the land to Infopark at a price of ₹200 crore, it mentioned.

Mr. Rajeeve mentioned the cash earned by means of the handing over of the land could be utilized for the long run improvement of Traco Cables. The liabilities because of the staff is also resolved by means of it, he mentioned.
