The Mahiti Hakku Adhyayana Kendra, Bengaluru, has written to President Droupadi Murmu opposing the Karnataka Data Fee’s (KIC) transfer to stop residents and RTI activists from taking part within the twentieth anniversary celebrations of the RTI Act carried out by it on October 14, at Yavanika in Bengaluru.

In a letter to the president on October 12, BH Veeresha, a trustee of the Mahiti Hakku Adhyayana Kendra, objected to the prevention of residents from taking part within the twentieth anniversary of the RTI Act by the KIC.
