On the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Indian diplomat Kshitij Tyagi issued a strong rebuttal to Switzerland after the nation urged India to guard minorities and uphold freedom of expression and media rights. Tyagi dismissed Switzerland’s remarks as “stunning, shallow, and ill-informed.”
Talking on the fifth Assembly of the sixtieth Session of the UNHRC, Tyagi emphasised Switzerland’s position because the council president, stating, “It’s all the extra vital for Switzerland to keep away from losing the council’s time with narratives which are blatantly false and don’t do justice to the fact of India.”

He urged Switzerland to show consideration to its personal home points, citing “racism, systematic discrimination and xenophobia” as issues needing pressing handle.

India Strongly Criticises Pakistan As Failed State
Tyagi additionally sharply condemned Pakistan throughout his speech, describing Islamabad as a “dump truck” filled with recycled falsehoods and branding it a failed state “surviving on instability and handouts.”
“Our measured and proportionate response to the Pahalgam assault made that sufficiently clear. We want no classes from a terror sponsor, no sermons from a persecutor of minorities, no recommendation from a state that has conjured its personal credibility. India will proceed to guard its residents with unwavering resolve. We are going to defend our sovereignty with out compromise,” he asserted.

This isn’t Tyagi’s first hard-hitting critique of Pakistan on the UN. In February, in the course of the 58th Common Session of the Human Rights Council, he labelled Pakistan a “failed state” depending on “worldwide handouts.” At the moment, he accused Pakistan’s leaders and delegates of persistently spreading falsehoods orchestrated by its “army terrorist complicated,” dismissing Islamabad’s claims on Jammu and Kashmir as “baseless and malicious.”
