In a tragic incident, a minimum of 4 employees have been killed and two others sustained severe accidents after inhalation of nitrogen gasoline that leaked at a pharmaceutical firm at Tarapur MIDC in Maharashtra’s Palghar district. As per officers, the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon at Medley Pharma positioned within the industrial space of Boisar.
Chief of Palghar district catastrophe administration cell, Vivekanand Kadam, mentioned that between 2.30 pm and three pm, nitrogen gasoline in one of many models of the corporate leaked, affecting the employees working there. “Six employees have been rushed to the hospital, the place 4 of them died round 6.15 pm,” he added.
Two others have been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at an area hospital, the place they’re at present present process therapy, he mentioned.
