Russian President Vladimir Putin is about to go to India on the finish of August, Interfax information company quoted India’s Nationwide Safety Adviser Ajit Doval as saying.
Doval is at present in Russia to debate India-Russia defence and safety cooperation.
Doval’s go to comes at a time when US President Donald Trump has imposed a further 25 per cent tariff on Indian items, taking the full tariff imposed to 50 per cent, over India’s buy of Russian oil.
Russia and India are time-tested companions and have been concerned in a number of bilateral tasks, together with the availability of S-400, MiG-29 fighter jets and manufacturing of AK-203 rifles in India and BrahMos missiles.
