CM Nitish Kumar introduced the formation of a fee forward of the elections. The choice is being seen as a big welfare measure within the lead-up to the forthcoming Bihar Meeting elections.
Forward of the meeting elections, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday introduced that the state authorities will represent a ‘Safai Karmachari Fee,’ aiming to make sure the safety, welfare, rehabilitation, and social upliftment of sanitation employees within the state.

In a put up on X, the Chief Minister mentioned that this fee will present solutions associated to the pursuits of sanitation employees, advise the federal government on the safety of their rights, and take acceptable motion to overview and implement welfare schemes associated to these engaged in sanitation work.
“I’m happy to tell that I’ve directed the division to represent the Bihar State Safai Karmachari Fee to make sure the safety, welfare, rehabilitation, social upliftment, grievance redressal, and monitoring of varied welfare schemes for the rights and pursuits of sanitation employees within the state of Bihar.”
“This fee will present solutions associated to the pursuits of sanitation employees, advise the federal government on the safety of their rights, and take acceptable motion to overview and implement welfare schemes associated to these engaged in sanitation work,” he added.
The Chief Minister additional mentioned that the Bihar State Safai Karmachari Fee will consist of 1 chairperson, one vice-chairperson, and 5 members, together with one girl/transgender. “This fee will play a big function in integrating the disadvantaged sections of society engaged in sanitation work into the mainstream and contributing to their social and financial growth,” Kumar added.
