NEW DELHI: An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Patna was compelled to carry out a go-around throughout its first touchdown try at Jay Prakash Narayan Worldwide Airport on Tuesday after the pilot detected an unstable strategy. The Airbus A320 plane, working as flight 6E 2482 with 173 passengers on board, landed safely on its second try, ANI sources confirmed.A supply aware of the incident clarified that the maneuver was a part of normal aviation security protocols. “It was a traditional and protected maneuver. The pilot opted for the go-around to make sure a secure touchdown strategy,” the supply mentioned.Go-arounds are frequent in aviation when climate or operational elements compromise a secure touchdown. No technical malfunction or emergency was reported.This incident comes only a week after one other IndiGo flight, 6E 5009 from Patna to Delhi, returned mid-air to Patna following a chicken strike on July 9. That plane was grounded for upkeep checks, and the flight was cancelled.
