BHUBANESWAR: A 20-year-old faculty pupil in Odisha’s Balasore set herself on hearth outdoors campus Saturday after accusing a senior school member of sexual harassment and institutional apathy. A male pupil who tried to rescue her suffered burn accidents. Each have been rushed to Balasore district hospital and the lady, with over 90 per cent burns, was later shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in vital situation.College students had been protesting since July 1, demanding motion towards the accused training division head, who was arrested after the incident. Training division head Samira Kumar Sahu was arrested on prices of sexual harassment and abetment of suicide try. An FIR has been registered and police presence was tightened across the campus.
